I just bought my first Vibe

Post by tarross2002 »

I bought my first Vibe today, it is a 2003 and I am very pleased with it. Drove it all day today to try it out and see how it drives and was very pleased. Looking for some opinions on accessories for it. Already has tinted windows and aftermarket Rims.

you go to school at oakland university? i used to work there as a custodian. Wouldn't mind getting a rear spoiler, need some new fog lights as one of mine are shattered, getting remote starter at the end of the month.

We woul be given a fix it ticked right away, if not sooner. And I must say, that's a very nice color combination. Really glad you posted a good picture right away. That way I can keep using my angry mob torch for heat at this moment.

Quote, originally posted by tarross2002 »It's just Base model.Just a Base model??? Woh there... you have a Base Vibe, one of the best kept secrets in cardom. One of the most usable 'small' cars around that can still get 30 to 40 mpg and hold way more gear and stuff than looks possible. Base, you say??? Looks to me like you have a moon roof. That might mean a Monsoon sound system, too (Not sure if that was available in '03... someone help me out). The front passenger seat back folds down flat to offer a way to allow longer loads than most cars can carry inside with the hatch, doors and windows closed. You have a separate opening glass hatch, and a full hatch as well. I hope you found the long lever on the left side of your driver's seat... the one you can adjust the seat cushion height, if you so wish. Out back behind the front seats, there's a hard loading deck including a bunch of tie downs and fold flat rear seats!!! Even some under floor storage space above the spare tire. All kinds of nooks and spaces to store or pack essentials. You even have cross bars on your roof rack! I'm pretty sure that the car you now drive around in has A/C, power steering, power windows, power locks and even some airbags to keep you from getting too banged up in the event of an accident. Your lights even come on by themselves, so you don't forget when it gets dark outside. Base is an unfortunate description for your Vibe. Not to mention its lineage, that guarantees a tough, long lasting vehicle that was built with a good deal of quality. Just a Base model... you almost got me to light the torch and get out the mob!!!
