Im looking into buying a new head unit for my stereo in an 05 M&T and to match the gauges and some aftermarket lighting id like it to have red illumination. Also rear aux/usb and a good 3 or 4 line lcd display, i just dont like the alarm clock looking screens...Any suggestions? Thanks!

i'll look up what model mine is later, it's a single slot. i have a sub hooked up to it and also have an ipod connected(through ipod connector not headphones) through the pocket underneath. i can have red, blue, light blue, green, pink, and cycle of the others.actually, i when i got this one i was looking for ipod control through HU and red illumination myself. xD i might go blue and change the LEDs in the dash.

I think that depends on the model
http://www.kb.sony.com/selfser...51937 According to this it changes some of the illumination, but the default blue on the control dial won't change...

I have an older Sony unit and all of the lights on it and around the face are red with the screen displaying in a white with a blue hint behind it. I'll have to go look for the model number on it.

I just opened a new Crutchfield and apparently this year's red is last year's blue. Practically every Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood and Alpine is sporting red illumination.
