Shorty after I bought the Mazda, one of my very first Mods was these. There was a GB on a forum for AutoVation Racing Pedals made specifically for the Mazda3. They had/have others for the Mazda6 also. These were/are custom fit for the car and after nearly 4 yrs, I still LOVE 'EM TO DEATH!!! They are grippy in EVERY situation, whether or not they or your shoes are wet. The only place they fall short is if you like to drive bare-footed, which I never do and don't recommend.Does anyone make pedals specifically for the Vibe/Matrix/Corolla like these?

Yes. Check out pedals for the Matrix (74 items) on Ebay. Yes, they will work on the Vibe. Many different kinds to choose from. Not so many listed for the Vibe (3 items). I used to have a set of the silver & black OBX pedals that are on ebay.

When I had my auto 1zz Corolla OBX had a great set of pedals that I bought from the dealership and paid an arm and a leg for. I sold my auto 1zz and bought another set for my 2zz XRS and they are great. Even when it's wet out you still have a great amount of grip. OBX should make similar pedals for the vibe but i've never searched for them. I picked up the set for my XRS off of ebay and I got them dirt cheap so I would look into that for an option for anyone on here.

Oh, there are universal bolt-on pedals everywhere. All the ones I've seen as listed for the Vibe or Matrix are universal. Most clamp on, which is dangerous should they come loose, and they are known to come loose at inopportune times.I was hoping for ones that were specific to the car.The shape of mine in the pic above, especially the brake and clutch, match the shape of the factory pedals exactly. The throttle matches at the top, but has that lower left side kick-out for better heel/toe work... and it works great!!

The OBX pedals are made for our cars. They are very secure.

I love my obx pedals and if they have them available for the vibe then def. get them. Too bad they don't sell a dead pedal to compliment the look but I bet someone could fabricate a similar pattern for a dead pedal.

I am reopening this thread w/new information:All the AM pedals I looked at are smooth and offer no grip, so what's the point?In my OP, I mentioned the AutoVation pedals I installed in my Mazda3 (w/pic) and said how much I loved them... well, they make them for the Vibe as well. In fact according to their site these will also fit: Toyota Matrix; Scion TC; and Prius, as well as the Vibe, and they come w/a dead pedal. The ones in my car are over 4yrs old now, still VERY grippy even when wet, still look great (imo) and I STILL love them.AutoVation also provided the pedals for the famous '67 Mustang GT500 "Eleanor" used in Gone in 60 Seconds and recently auctioned off @ Barrett-Jackson... something I did not know about them before. If anyone wants a really good serious set of pedals, though a little pricey, I highly recommend these.
