Get approval from Admin or the mods, add the $100 Curt hitches to your website and then post another listing here on the site. This is too good of a deal for our Vibe owners to pass up.

Aren't the rules/regulations put in place to protect members from being scammed even though it may be considered a good deal? Purchasing from an established member would be the safe route or no? This specific example comes to mind

http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=38439Of course selling rules are there for a reason. It does say, in the rules: Commercial sellers who wish to offer items to the GenVibe community will need to contact a moderator or administrator prior to making a sales post to discuss the sale and provide references. Of course buying from an established members like us is the safer route. However, every sale is buyer beware no matter who the seller is.

I was just pointing out, even if it is a great deal and the seller does get permission to sell here, it can be risky. Yes, the seller would need references, but who is going to check those references for validity? I am happy the staff here is enforcing the rules, especially when it comes to money.

I have heard from the seller and I have overruled myself and put the post back in the for sale forum.

I know you know the rules, I didn't post it, thinking you didn't. I mainly posted that quote so others who look in here will see that there can be good commercial sellers a long as they follow the rules. Again, any sale can be risky, no matter the seller. I would hope that the mod or admin would verify the references, otherwise it would be pointless to ask for them. Everyone on this site is happy the mods enforce the rules, it is what makes GenVibe so great!

I just opened a new thread in the for sale forum. Unfortunately we are not selling Curt hitches anymore. We only have Hidden Hitch, Reese Pro Series and Draw-tite brands (which are the same)
Thanks guys
