Ok, so it has been a cold winter and today, it finally warms up!I didn't feel the shaking before, but today, with fairly warm weather, I feel the car shakes at highway speed....Does sudden change in temperature cause havoc with tire balance? B/C that's what I think the shaking is from... Or is it something else?

have you driven in snow lately? So much so that there might be some packed in to the wheels? Just spit balling here

Have a look on all 4 wheels to see if the balancing weights are all still there. And clean the dirt from the inside of the rims... it can build up and if a chunk of it flies off, there goes your balance!

I visually look at all four wheels today and it seems my front tire is some what flat...

This happened to me earlier this year after plowing through some heavy snow. There was so much snow packed onto the undercarriage that the car was vibrating and it felt unstable at freeway speeds. This might be your issue as well, especially if the snow is sticky from the nicer temperatures. Also, in the 2 winters I've owned the car, the tire pressure monitor light comes on after the fist severe cold snap (about -30 degrees Celsius), but that doesn't explain why only one of your tires appears low. Are you running winter tires that don't have the TPM?

i got snow tires without TPMS and the light turned itself off automagicly in cold days too. However, I store the summer tires and rims in the basement and placed directly underneath the basement window (without cover with tire bags) .. it does detect the sensors since the tires are stored within 50ft away from the car. However, the light will come on when i drive over 15 minutes. But it cancel by it self when I go home.

It sounds bad but you may have had ice form on the rim somewhere and once it warmed a little the ice melted so the problem went away. My Vibe has done this at least twice a year with the ice on the rims. At first it is a little annoying but if the boss and I have to go anywhere substancial I try and clean off the wheels before we go. I think it just has made me a little paranoid.

Had this exact problem yesterday. Stopped at a rest area on the Coquihalla, lost of slush and ice. Drove and stopped in some deep ruts. Some snow or ice attached or splashed itself to the inner side of the rims and had about 5 minutes of unbalanced wheels as I drove down the hill through the snowshed. As the temps warmed to above freezing the ice melted off and the problem went away!
