I got in an accident and my car had to be in the shop for repairs. When it came out of the shop the fob remote no longer worked. I replaced the battery but that didnt help. I tried the reprogramming but that didnt work either. When I try the steps it does the unlock and lock but then the fob still dosent work. Any ideas?

Call the shop up and tell them that you lost the function, they need to fix it!

Oh I will I am so mad, but I live in the city and I cant lock my car and the shop dosent open till monday. The key wont even lock the doors. I know the fob is functioning cause I had it tested. When I get to the reprogramming part where it says hold the lock and unlock button and then press lock or unlock it dosent confirm anything, could it be something else?

Did thet replace the door and forget to give you the key for it?Either way... take it back and let them fix it!

Do the power locks inside the car work?I'm thinking they may have forgot to plug in the power lock for the door they replaced, which in my experience in most cars, will not allow any of the doors to lock when you try to do it to all at once. (hitting the fob for example)

The doors lock and unlock when I hit the lock on the door but the dob or key wont unlock it. They replace the rear quater panel on the passanger side.

Pretty similar to a friend's Honda Civic that had the rear door replaced after a nasty accident. Fob would not work. He took it back to the shop and discovered that the lock was not wired up. They plugged it in and -Poof!- the fob worked again! Might be the same thing.
