I just bought a used '09 Vibe yesterday with 29,500 miles!Everything is cool, except the cruise control doesn't work.Sometimes when i crank up the car, the Cruise Control light is illuminated on the dash, though it won't work and it won't turn off. Other times, the light is not illuminated, and it won't turn on or work. At the same time, i'm also having a problem with the PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF light not going off. It isn't supposed to stay on all the time is it?

Sounds like loose electrical connections on the CC stalk. The passenger airbag light should turn off when there is less then 40lbs (I believe) on the seat. The pressure sensor under the seat might be might have a loose connection. The Airbag light should be off normally.

yeah it is still under warranty - i'm going to take it in and see what they can do about it. Thanks for the tips though star_D!
