I found it quite funny. A girl who worked for me once told me that she was going to get the body kit to put on her PT Crapper to make it look boxy. I had to inform her that it was the new HHR. She got really REALLY disappointed.

You mean even more disappointed than she was when she realized she had a PT Cruiser?

People either loved them or hated them. I had a 2001 PT Cruiser bought new - waited 4 months for delivery. My only complaint was the mpg but as I don't put a lot of miles on a car that was not a major issue. It was very comfortable and perhaps even more versatile than the Vibe. The rear seats folded forward or could be easily removed. The front passenger seat folded down. The hard multi-position cover in the cargo area was something that the Vibe should have copied. I thought the PT was being discontinued but see there is a 2010 model year.
