January GM Card top off to purchase new Vibe or most other GM

Just got in the mail a fancy slick brochure topping off my $249 GM Card earnings to $2,000 if I buy any eligible new GM 2009 or 2010 Vehicle from 1/5/2010 until 2-1-2010. [Like last year, I suspect those with an earnings balance over $1,000 are being offered a top off to $3,000.]There is also mentioned a $1,000 Owner Loyalty Cash offer (depending on model). I think the Vibe qualifies. These are in addition to most current offers. All of the Pontiac and Saturn vehicles are listed with the *remaining models in inventory. Both the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain are included in case you can't find a Vibe. But these are excluded from the $1,000 owner loyalty.

I'm wondering how low can we go??? Edmunds states that there is $6,500 off on the Vibe. Does that include any loyalty cash? I'm trying to convince my wife to get rid of the '03 and cash in on this rediculously low price for a Vibe. Yesterday, I put two more zip ties underneath the car to hold the wheel well plastic and engine apron in place. I feel like this is one of those opportunities knocking and I can't convince the wife to cash in on it.

We didn't even technically need the second car, but we did want one and the deals were great. In your case the discounts are even greater because they have even more money off- I believe my total was about $4000-$4500 off MSRP with cash and credit union (supplier pricing) discount. $6500 is even better!Just giving you my $0.02 "wife cents" to help your cause!

he, he, he....thanks Ponta.......I'll show her your good sense and see if we can gang up on her! The big problem is that she knows that I drive my cars until I have to push it over the cliff (for insurance purposes of course ), or until GM technicians try to kill me (whichever comes first).

I have $1,013 on the GM card, and the top off is still just $2K. Don't plan to use it, the 03 and 07 Vibes are doing just fine, and don't think there is any dealer stock left in SoCal anyway. I'm hoping down the road that any Vibe-specific parts will be more readily available for Gen-1 Vibes, either leftover NOS or used. Not much of an installed base for Gen-2.

No Vibes showing up on the dealer websites in Central Ohio.

We've pretty much quit using the GM card, just don't see a Government Motors vehicle in my future. It was a great deal for a couple of Vibe purchases.

GM Card gave me 10% Nov 15-Dec 15. My alternative card is Schwab Visa - 2% cash back on everything.BTW - the 2010 Chevy Equinox is almost as hard to find as a Vibe in this area. They must be selling well.

We really wanted to get a new 2009 or 2010, but there arent any here in Michigan. I would even be willing to drive somewhere to get one, but you cant search on the Pontiac site anymore. This sucks!

I've found cars at dealers that were not listed on the Pontiac site.

What are you looking for? AWD or FWD? 1.8 or 2.4? Or any Vibe?

My card got topped off as well. No new car in my future - can't afford it.I'm going to look in any case - but are they actually giving $2k off of anything?I also don't use my GM card any longer - they raised my rate from 8% to 15%.
