Power Point Question

I created a presetation for work. With graphics and all, the total size of this presentation is 9.8 MB. I need to make it smaller, but even with Winzip it only reduces it down to 9.3 MB. Is there any way to save it, so that it brings it down to a reasonable size? Your help is appreciated in this matter.

I don't use power point that much. Can you reduce the size of the graphics? Open them in a photo editor and save them at a lower resolution or in a different format. Besides that I don't know what else you can do.

You could also burn it to a cd if you have a cd burner or email it to yourself to open at work. those will work if the problem is it will not fit on a 3.5. Also a zip drive will hold anything ya want- hope one of those works for ya

9.8 meg is nothing. I've got a 1.5 gig AVI file demo video on my work hard drive that is:Too big of an attachment for the email we use.Too big to fit on a CD, Zip, or any other available media. So big we have to hook the destination PC up via direct cable 100 Base TX ethernet just to get it from PC to PC. And it still takes 30+ minutes to copy.As such, the most recent PC ordered for the department WILL have a DVD burner in it.So burn it to a CD or a ZIP disk. If you don't have either internal in your PC you can buy an external CD burner several places. You might even be able to rent one or borrow one.KSNeptune

You don't need to compress it, you don't need to PDF it, and you don't need to remove any graphics...All you need to do to get it onto floppies (I assume that's what you want to do) is:Go to File, and then "Pack and Go..." That will compress it into a single file and span it across as many disks (or whatever media you use) as it takes to get the whole file...
