Chrysler Roadside Assistance

I thought that my 2007 T&C came with a 3 year Roadside Assistance program like GM. I had a flat on the freeway today (very scary as the berm is very narrow - people do not slow down or change lanes - just wiz by). I called the Chrysler # but they had no record of such coverage for my T&C. I paid $67.75 for the tire change service. My Chrysler dealer ordered most of his inventory with a full size spare at an added cost of $25 so I am not driving on a donut. That $25 option is a no brainer in my opinion. All I could find on the web is Chrysler 3 year towing assistance so maybe I misunderstood.I think I drove about 6 miles on the freeway on this severely under inflated (not totally flat) tire so I assume it is toast. Taking it to my Goodyear dealer in the morning. Drove fine - became aware only when car in next lane honked and pointed to my front tire.I think it was that flat when I left the house this a.m. This experience changed my mind in regard to the usefulness of the tire pressure sensors on the Vibe.

Three Letters for you.AAAI don't care what dealers offer, when your miles away from a dealer or service, these are the people to call. Gas, tire change, towing, battery replacement, etc. I've been a member for over 10 years and continue to find it worthwhile for my small yearly membership fee. Not to mention the discounts on travel, tickets, food, clothing, etc. It's pretty endless what you can get with AAA.

Might look at AAA membership again though..

I've got a few solid decades before I hit AARP status.
