Is it advisable to use a Clay Bar on the windows of a car? Some one painted a truck this summer in my neighbourhood and the car got overspray on it. The clay bar took the overspray off of the paint but I still have it on the windows.

I always clay my windows when I clean my car. It's a great way to get rid of water spots and to make the window smooth.

Claybaring your windows will not hurt it one bit. Give it a try!

I stick with my 000 Steel Wool and foam cleaner.

I clayed my windshield last month when I did the paint and it came out great.

I too use the clay bar on my windows. I also use it on the headlights, taillights, fog lights, etc. It works great on those surfaces and I have never had an issue with it messing up any of those surfaces or anything.

A new single edge razor blade used carefully will take the paint off the glass effectively. Then clay bar them if you want.
