power steering fluid in 2005 vibe

Has anyone changed there power steering fluid in there 2005 Vibe.The owner's manual calls for Dexron III automatic transmission fluid, which is red. The original color I believe was clear. Anybody know what the correct fluid is?

a Dexron III approved ATF is the correct fluid to use.I use royal purple MAX ATF in mine.

I use Amsoil ATF. I use a turkey baster to remove old fluid. I do this every 15k miles or so.

Do you remember if the original color was clear or red?

Mine is clear on a 2006, I have also wondered what to put in since factory antifreeze is also different from what the manual says to use.
