Hi, I took my 09 Vibe to the dealership for the power brake assist recall yesterday, and today I noticed that it squeals (not very loud) in the last few feet while coming to a stop. Less than 10k miles, pads/disc still in good shape since i drive conservatively.I've done some research online, and one source says it is nothing to worry about. What do you guys think? Should I take it back to the dealership for a check up since I didn't have this problem before?

That happens to my car for me it is from the hills that i am on. The brake dust gets on the disc and causes the noise.

I am not sure what is involved in the recall, but sounds like they didn't apply "anti-squeal compound" to the back of the pads.Dave

I would call Pontiac customer relations and have them document your concern. Ask them for some technical assistance before bringing your car back with the risk of something else going wrong.
