Im driven home in the pouring rain, high winds, some flooding & noticed both front door panels,,right where the outside mirrors are is all wet inside! Both sides are wet. I opened the doors & where the dash meets the door on the inside is wet also. Weird,iI was driven about 50/55. I wonder where it's comming from. Anybody else have this problem ?

Since it is on both sides maybe it was just the combination of pouring rain and high wind. Being an '09 it is in warranty so you might ask your dealer about it.When it dries, run it through a car wash and see what happens.

Did you have the A/C going? I know well the weather you speak of. In a warm humid situation the cold air that comes out of the vents at the edge of the dash (which direct air onto the side windows) causes isolated condensation where the cool air meets the warm (relatively) panel. In certain conditions this condensation can be significant. It also will form on the bottom of the windshield where the defroster vents are aimed. Not saying this is YOUR problem but it is certainly something I've seen happen.Dave

Might be condensation? Would be strange if both sides were letting in water. How's your rubber gasket looking around that area of the doors, any kinks or deformation? Wow on the condensation... djkeev got there before I did.

Not condension, just had the temp all the way into the red & the upper & lower vent on.Since it was still pouring out I opened the passanger door to gey my thermos & coffee cup off the pass side floor,I keep 2boxes on the floor to keep em from flopen around or falling over.Thats when i noticed the area between the dash & door section were wet. Im leaning toward the foam barier in the fender & water getten past the weatherstrip somwhere. Weird it was the same on both sides.I was going thru a lot of water. It seems like it was water bring blown back, but inside the car. Automatic car washes are not my bag had a bad experiance usen 1 once. Thanks all for the reply's.Maybe someone else will experiance this.

I will keep an eye on my two 09 Vibes now, this is definitely not normal. Seems to me you need to take the Vibe back to the dealer. Water getting in where the mirror are and or on the front portion where the door seal is?

Around the "triangular" lower section of the inside part of the mirror houseing,It could be getten by the weatherstrip. If i had a garage I proably could of figured where it was coming from, but it was like a monson comming down & i didn't want to leave the doors open that long.

RTV sealer on the backside and see if it seals the issue?Warranty issue for sure!

Didn't VforVibe have a situation like this or was hers and issue around the firewall? Since she has an 09 as well, hopefully she'll chime in.
