Not a terrible color combination, but the photos aren't doing it any favors.

Understood bodhi, but that first shot looks like it resting on the ground.

Why does it look like they just sprayed it with water before taking the picture? Why would someone do that??

You would think he would clean the interior up a little bit, I can't believe he would do that to that poor vibe.

Uff. Much money might have been spent, but really poorly. Pink sparkle? The interior is not well kept. Grungy won't help sell.

He's asking way too much for a rebuilt title.

Were the wheels ugly on 03 gt's? bcuz those are hideous

The pink sparkle would look ten times better if he just painted that grille black

If he had done the pink thing with pink calipers, pinstripes and interior accents then given the car to his wife/gf it would have looked fine. Too bad it's just some half-a**ed job... I'm sure some sucker will think it's the greatest thing...

I love how he said it was "normal" and red when he bought it. Yeah, pepto pink isn't exactly normal. I agree with the above, asking way too much for a salvage title.

Yeah, what's the deal with the GT/5spd combo on Craigslist? Creative rebadging?

If you look closely, 4 wheel-discbrakes on the craigslist car. It's a GT.2 months ago I bought a 2003 Vibe GT that was de badged. the dealer did not know it was a GT. He thought it was a base 'manual' Vibe. I did not tell him what he had. I bought it for $4000 and sold it a week later for $8100.

Thats interesting ou.griz. The black GT that I sold had the 6 disc CD changer, but no moonroof. I have yet to see an 03 GT with a moonroof, but then again, I haven't been looking.

As a pink fanatic, a black car with pink sparkle could potentially be cool... the grille was meh... but I agree that if they're going to do something crazy like pink, they should go all-out and extend the color to the inside, a la PT Cruisers with their colored dashboards. If you're going to be ridiculous, don't do it halfway!

Quote, originally posted by ou.grizzly »There are/were plenty of 2003 GTs with moonroofs, just no 17" rims. Right. And I can provide the final answer on why this was. The 17" wheels that were optional on the Vibe in 2003 were fitted with Dunlop SP9000 tires. The tires provided so much lateral grip that there was concern for the integrity of the roof structure with the combination of the Dunlops and the moonroof in "spirited" driving situations. Erego, if you wanted the 17s you had to forego the moonroof. if you wanted the moonroof, 16s only for you.I had a very long discussion with my salesman about this when I purchased my '03 GT back in 2002. For the record, I opted for the 17s and never looked back.

If it was me, I would have given a serious detail before posting pics. A vacuum, claybar & wax does wonders. I like the rear bumper though.

Don't we have laws in this country to protect innocent cars from this kind of horrible abuse?

Passing on a rebuilt car, wether it was done correctly or not is just trying to pass on problems

I bought my 04 gt smashed with 1600 miles on it and rebuilt it... now i have 65000 on it and havn't had a single problem i even rebuilt it again after i hit a deer. you just can't take short cuts when you rebuilt it.
