need someone in Houston...

to fix my Stereo. I know absolutely nothing about it. All I know is my '03 Vibe Bass went out. Tried changing a speaker I thought I'd blown, but wasn't it. listening to ALL TREBLE and its driving me nuts. Any suggestions on who to trust to get it going and.or replace it? I dont need a Boom-Boom system...just need something that doesnt make my cringe. In Clear Lake area

Welcome to genvibe.com!Sorry to hear about your audio issue. I assume you're using a factory radio. If you're getting no bass response when changing the EQ settings, it's most likely the circuitry in the head unit (HU) and you may be best off replacing the entire HU. They come up on eBay frequently and should be available for under $100.
