im sure that it requires a lot of sanding once the fiberglass in roughed in, and as far as im concerned there is absolutely nothing you can do to keep it from getting on your skin, you can wear a mask to prevent breathing it in thats about it. i know this because i have been workin on retro-fitting an old cris-craft boat to a research vessel for biofouling studies at my school, and i would say we put in over a months worth of fiberglassing and sanding all together. the dust gets everywhere, eventually you forget it itches though.yogi

I think it looks pretty good. The carpet looks like a close match. I would like to see that bottom rear corner (towards the hatch) rounded off.Working w/ fiberglass isn't that bad. I watched a guy build the entire body of a "fike" out of fiberglass. (Fike: motorcycle front end with four rear wheels, as opposed to a trike, which only has two rear wheels). A key item is starting with a good mold in the shape you want.

When workin with fiberglass. To get it out of your skin (to keep from itching). Use duct tape. Duct tape actually pulls all the lil pieces out, so it don't itch.

You build the fiberglass boxes yourself? If so I may have a custom job for you. Think you could do a price quote on a 15 and 2 12's to fir the Vibe? Areas to fit the amps would be great too, here's a pic if you'd like.

if you don't already have them somewhere, you should get a couple of big caps too! That's pretty sweet though. A fiberglass enclosure would definately make it better.
