Hello, I was wondering what everyone's experience with the stock GT shift knob is. My car was bought used and it came with a really cheap one. Is it worth trying to find a stock GT shift knob or should i get something aftermarket. Also how much do you reckon the GT shift knob is worth or where i could buy one?

There's a TRD shift Knob that should fit. I dunno about that style though. looks kinda cool but don't know how comfy it would be on your hand. No way Id wanna pay $120 for a shift knob man.. but if thats what a new OEM costs oh well.. thats kinda crazy though. You could also try the dealer like HERB said or parts store for a stock replacement. I imagine them having a high price for it too. http://www.trdsparks.com/displ...=1581h ... knobs.com/ some more after market shift knobs. theses ones completely made from machined metal. Some people say having too heavy a shift knob bad for your transmission.. though? I was checking out the aluminum ones because its prob closer to stock weight. Again don't know how comfy those would be.. Not sure If I like having to use a metal shift knob in a cold winter morning. Theres gotta be tons of choices out there as far as aftermarket goes.

I'm sure someone here will be buying an aftermarket knob (heh heh I said knob) at some point in the next couple months and won't want to keep their stock one, assuming there's not someone here who already has one sitting in their garage.
