He finally did it! He bought an '05 Fusion Base. Now I need to convince him to come on here.

That is a great colour! As for the blue crocs

My wife just saw the pic and asked (violently) why I didn't get that colour Vibe...And footwear is a personal choice (shakes head) no matter how much others laugh!

Just today I parked next to a Fusion, I drive an 07 Salsa, struck up a conversation of "great choice of car" and the drivers comment was, "Gosh, you've got a much better color than mine, wish I had any color but this."Then again, he was a New Yorker, are they ever happy about anything?Dave

The blue Crocs aren't the biggest problem. I get him confused with our sister. They have the same hair cut.

Fusion rocks!Would give left testicle for those color keyed mirrors.Been trying to find them. I may just have to have them painted separately.

Good taste for cars. Can't say the same for shoes. Congrats! The car is mint! The colours on the previous generation were much nicer then what was offered for 09-10.

Thanks for the offer vibolista, I have a can of that Fusion(Sunburst), really helped covering the lower rocker panels.If Im gonna paint them, I will have it professionally done: Primer, base, clearcoat etc...As far as modifications, last weekend I put in a Schrieber Airhorn alarm.The thing kicks out 139db! Will post a youtube on it this week.The point of the installation besides protecting my steeringwheel center hub hologram skull, and the $3000 Navigation system in her, is the fact that if the would be thief tried to break in... um... he will have to wash his underwear after the attempt. Pitty the perp, I wonder if he would be able to hear his washing machine after he threw his pants in it. 139 db will leave a nice ring tone in anyones ears! That system should more than do the trick. Which navi system did you put in?

It also has a 10 gig harddrive to hold songs, no more CD's in the car.Woo Hoo I just got the proofs of a photo shoot of my girlfriend today.I think I will go with this one for prints:Not a clear photo, I guess they want you to buy prints, versus scanning.Understood.

Hiya Ou-grizz, I know this ^ wasn't directed at me, but it's been quite a while since I have been on this forum.Yeah, I still have my Vibe, but it's now pretty much my GF's car.It's pretty much just a hauler for me. This is what I drive now:Since my GF has "taken over" the Vibe, she has essentially, anti-debadged it by putting a cat sticker, a rockband sticker, and worst of all a 'mud flap girl' sticker on it (but it's a profile of an overwieght guy.) Such is the price I pay for owning my MR2.I did put a crystal skull on the 3rd brake light tho:It's nice having 2 radically different cars, yet the heart of both of them are 4 cylinder Toyotas. Here is a shot of them together, before I replaced the BOMEX fiberglass nose:
