hmm dont see how a 4 door and a 2 door are the same... lol it was rumored to be released as a caprice, but that has been cancelled.

When I got my vibe the dealer said there was consideration of the g8 becoming a "new" buick regal sport.

The next Impala would be a nice fit for thise car actually. But GM is not committing to keeping it on US shores.Maybe GM opens up a new performance division with a new GTO, G8, etc. with new nameplates. Why not, GMC is all trucks.

Geeez - my point was an auto journalist so green behind the ears to think the Camaro was a rebadged G8.

Ahhhh that's a relief if it's true. I really wanted a G8 but by the time I could afford one they would all be totaled with salvage titles thanks to all the idiot drivers on the road and the small popular of G8s lol.Hopefully they don't screw up their good record so far and they keep it looking the same or similar.
