The December 2009 editon of Kiplinger's magazine gives it best used cars and the 2006 Vibe wins under great gas mileage in a small package. It makes the best list for 2009! Wake up GM--it is never too late!!!

Vibe is a gr8 so we can thank Toyota for the Corolla & Matrix. Lets not forget one of pontiacs best cars is essentially a Toyota. No mystery why Pontiac is gone LOL.

And . . . it doesn't make any sense to make a gr8 car unless you also can make money on it. Consensus is that Nummi never made any money. Plus, a lot of Vibes were sold with generous incentives. At the prices they might have to charge to make a profit the Vibe might not be so gr8. I'm still driving a Vibe due to a smokin' deal I couldn't pass up.

No mystery why Pontiac is gone LOL. I thought Pontiac was a better brand than Buick, but that was just me it seems. Buick was always a "blue hair" brand. And their cars always fit that billing. Even as I close in on that "blue hair" epoc, I still think their cars are pretty boring... compared to the Pontiac side of the company. At least Pontiac was trying to market spirited offerings, even if they were just shared pieces with slightly different metal and plastic wrinkles. The mystery why Buick remains and Pontiac died... the Chinese market? Buick may eventually build cars that I would want to buy, but right now they don't. Could Toyota build something with them... Buyota or a Toyoick? Other car makers will build cars that fill the Vibes niche. Toyota currently does, but it's a little painful for me to look at. Maybe they can borrow Jeff Strausser for a quick gig to make the latest Trix a little less schizofrenic on the outside. The Trix may remain as the backup plan later on... but I really hope Jeff takes the gig soon!!!

Vibe is gone ! And without 60 bilion $ from our pockets, GM would be the same.
