So I switched my air filters out for the K&N before my trip to Alabama (more on that later as far as mpg's) When I got there I was going to clean the throttle body. While take the air box completely out I noticed another stupid filter in the top of the air box. What is it and what does it do? Because it dissapeared

on the 05s they did nothing. they were supposed to trap un burnt fuel coming out of the TB. Mine went by by also
