Charlottesville?

Anyone here in or near Charlottesville?Thinking of moving there and need some local information.

not too far away, but then again, not an expert either. UVA, close to the mountains, near Walton's Mountain, great historic district, direct shot to VA Beach........... hit me with your question.............

I've only ever driven past Charlottesville, but that part of Virginia is beautiful country.

Awe-ritee-then.....Our 2 kids moved to Alexandria.Mom wants to be closer in case they have any kids.Right now, neither one is even dating.A lot depends on our local housing market picking up along with our home value.Wife has looked, I think, at the local hospital for a job and thinks she will be fairly easy to get one there. Me, I've done so many things I could get almost anything to get by with.Bored yet ???Our wishing is to get 3 acres and build a home. We would also order a tombstone since that will be our last stop.Just wanting to get some of the local newspaper(s) to get a feel for the area so when we make a weekend trip we can hone in on a few pre-selected communities/locales/towns.Doesn't have to be Charlottesville itself. Maybe 30-60 minutes out is OK.Like I said, could be 6 months out ... could be 12 months out ... could be never.
