How do I find out if my car has the keyless remote option. The remote fob did not come with my car. And I dont want to order one unless I really have the option. Thanks

Do you have power locks on your Vibe? If you do then you have to buy the fob's and program them.I have an extra one or so laying around that I could sell - $10.00 each shipping included.

There is a multistep procedure on programming replacement key fobs. It was first posted here by NovaResource in
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=11360 It is a Toyota procedure, but it's a Toyota keyless entry system in the Vibe, so it applies.

I am amazed at this price. Is this a typo. You could barely get a key cut for $10.00.

I got mine from eBay for something like $8. They're pretty cheap.I bought the key because the dealer (it was used) said that it was lost or didn't come with it.The next week, though, i was messing around in the trunk and found both the missing owner's manual and the factory keyfob. it was by the spare tire, under the plastic, elbow deep into one of the gaps in the body. The factory fob lacks the panic button on the rear, although the electronics have the capability for it. The aftermarket toyota fob i got on ebay has the panic button.
