Our local Fox station has been airing this video in slow motion on every single newscast today, of a Russian bus having brake failure and nearly hitting a pedestrian. First it hits what appears to be a Vibe, and the Vibe narrowly misses his foot, then the bus narrowly misses him too. He got very lucky. Then after the bus leaves the picture, you can see what appears to be another Vibe, either Lava or Fusion, in the left turn lane.Vibes must be super popular there...how strange to see two in a video clip that's so bizarre anyhow.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVUjc1vSCPA&NR=1

I thought the red one looks more like a Suzuki Sx4, but I was wrong one time before, so...

True... that doesn't look like a vibe. The centerof the front grille apears round when the car comes closer rather than thin and high like the Vibe logo.They have so many cars we don't know about, it could be a number of thing.

I hope the driver of the blue vibe is okay . That has to be a broken neck.. seems beyond whiplash potential to me.

If you watch the video a little longer and pay attention to the red vehicle, it's rear end does not look Vibe like. A sedan?

The blue one looked like the Suziki SX4 to me. It was the positioning of the roof rack. The orange mystery car might be a Suzuki also? One extremely lucky Russian pedestrian. Could there be a Communist God?

The report said that the brakes failed on the bus...it ended up hitting something like 15 cars before it finally hit something that stopped it.

From what I've heard a lot of voltzes ended up in Russia after they tanked in sales in japan. nothing to confirm this though so I could be full of it.
