Stink, Ice, & Other Issues

I've noticed others have posted about unpleasant odors in their Vibes, but no one has mentioned the door window seals as the source. We purchased our '08 new in August '07. Noticed the stink by the summer of '08. Our dealership first said they couldn't smell anything so there's no problem, but NOW say they've had several cases in G6's, and have a standard fix: replace the seals (where the window slides in & out of door), repaint inside of door, and enlarge drain holes in the door. The smell is most noticeable when the windows are down, a little or all the way. Very nasty when I use the drive-up ATM!Next issue: In cold winter weather, the inside of the windshield ices up. Not just a very thin, easily defrosted film, but ICE. The dealership reports that excessive fogging has been reported across the board in GM vehicles, due to moisture laying in HVAC system. They try to solve the problem by installing an afterblower that should help dry up this moisture. I really hope this works, because this car is a major pain to drive in the winter. (I don't have remote starter, and don't believe in long warm-ups anyway.) First two summers we took the car back for not cooling on A/C and they found & repaired (?) a leak. Now it's not cooling again, but the dealership says it IS cooling "within acceptable parameters." Tell my little grandkids that when they're sweltering in the back seat?!Last but not least, a clunking sound upon going forward after reverse was supposedly fixed (transmission mount) but came back the very next day.Our first Pontiac (hubby's always been a Ford man) and more than likely our last GM vehicle.
