REPLACING STOCK SPEAKERS/AMP/SUB

Ive got a 05 abyss M&T and im looking to get more power out of my system. For bass I want a 6.5" Kicker CVT (150w RMS) powered by a PowerAcoustik Gothic 420w amp (bridged to 190w at 4 ohms).I will be completely removing the stock sub to mount the kicker in the stock location, hopefully it will fit without serious modifications. My question here is will removing the sub provide the additional power to the speakers or is the stock amplifer set up for 4 channels at some wattage and 1 channel at another, is this adjustable?I also want to replace my door speakers, something that will add a bit more punch to my midrange with either a 6.5" kicker KS or DS series speaker. My speaker question pertains to whether or not the power from a head unit (such as the sony cdx-gt930ui) add to the power of the amplifier as it powers the speakers? I read that the stock "200w" amp only does between 17 and 25w rms/channel and that seems really low.
