I just installed the AFE intake, anyone know where to put this thing(picture) and the vacuum tube that removed from that "T" connection???......thanks,
I dunno either but I hope your engine bay is cleaner than what that picture represents. To me that looks like the AIT sensor (air intake temperature). Most quality intakes have a space where you can mount these on them in the tube. Take a picture of your whole engine bay.
Actually that is the vacuum actuator for the little trap door that opens on the airbox when you hit lift. You don't need it with the new intake. I think with my K&N I had to relocate it and hook the electrical connection back up but not the vacuum lines. Just make sure you have all the vac lines reconnected so you don't have any leaks and your good to go.
