Hybrid Badge

I am considering buying a hybrid badge for my Vibe. I have noticed that vehicles with Hybrid badges on them tend to get much better gas mileage than those that do not. Has anyone put a hybrid badge on their Vibe? How much did your mileage improve? I know the all the brands have different designs of Hybrid badges, is one better than the others?

You'd probably get about 20 mpg more than racing stripes. Just a rough estimate though

yeah but your power would drop tremendously. i recommend both racing stripes and a hybrid badge.power AND efficicency ftw!!!!!!

Why stop there!?Hybrid badge (+20mpg)Racing stripe (+20HP +5mpg)Fake air scoop on the hood (+15HP +5mpg)Oversized double rear spoiler (+50HP)Fake 2nd exhaust made of plumber pipe (+10HP +5mpg)The possibilities are endless.... Not only will your car look more badass than a lamborghini, you'll have performance on par with an Audi R8 and the oil companies will be paying YOU to gas up your car.

If you have a stick don't forget to wind it waaaay up before you start to let off the clutch too. That's how all the cool kids do it I hear.

The cardboard spinners are the best! But the tinfoil additions can cause distractions to those with a pre-disposition to shiny objects: Bass fishermen, County Sherriffs, Young Women, ect. Just make sure you put it shiny side out, you don't want to be driving around looking like an idiot!!

speed holes 30 thumbs up Holes you put in the hood of your car with a pickaxe to (supposedly) make it go faster. These holes may also be installed via sniper fire. Ned: Whatcha diddely-doin', neighbor? Homer: Aw, putting speed holes in my car. Makes it go faster. Ned: Is that so? Well, gee, maybe the old Flanders-mobile could use some

...as my departed-Dad used to say: "...Son, painting flames on the sides of your car ain't gonna make it go any faster."...hence, similarly: "...sticking a HYBRID decal or medallion on a car ain't gonna make it get any better MPG!"

Maybe somebody can.)

I especially love the STi-GST-DOHC-VTEC-TRD Lumina above... I always wanted to add crap like that to a car, I thought it would be funny. I was right. I used to have an oval sticker on the Hyundai that said MPG. As soon as it was applied, I noticed a dramatic change in fuel economy. It got looking kinda yucky so with sadness I had to remove it -- and took quite a hit on my fe. Oh well.

I like the two liter NOS bottle on the dash of the Lumina.

I'm not into paintball so I don't know about all the different tanks. Does anyone actually put the tank for their nitrous on the dashboard? Seems to me like that should go somewhere else.

There is no chance of running out of nitrous if you keep your bottle close enough to check how much is left while driving.

Absolutely that's the safest place! See, if you're a true ricer, you already have the standard issue riceboy A-pillar fire extinguisher mounted... WIth that in such close proximity to the nitrous tank, you'll be able to put out the fire quickly after it explodes from your botched nitrous install. It's a win-win for everybody.

I spotted a 2001-2003 Hyundai Sonata 4 cylinders GT-R last week.... now THAT was a car!.... it had every piece of fake plastic/chrome the owner had been able to put on it but the centerpiece was a nice nissan GT-R badge on the back that the owen probably got on ebay. All it was missing was a fake hood scoop. That Gt-R badge alone must add at least 100HP... I mean.. Come'on... a freaking GT-R! I shivered in fear and back away slowly repeating out loud "I'm not worthy!... I'm not worthey!"Too bad I didn't have a camera with me.

I always wonder if people would make jokes if I put a TRD badge on my Vibe GT. It would be interesting if I could hear them poking fun at a Pontiac with Toyota emblems... lol.

tribalman, have fun with it.I was considering using the ones off novelty glasses, but decided to google '38mm hologram'. Thats the size that will fit in the hub of the Vibe's steering wheel. There is better quality ones out there.Mine is a glass dichromate one. Deeper effect, and not expensive. I paid $7 for mine.
