If anyone's interested I have a pair of top of the line Kenwood 6 1/2" coaxials brand new never mounted for sale for $79 plus postage if I have to mail them. I decided to go with components all around, separate amps, etc. I just posted these in the buy and sell section. If you have the stock setup and want to use your head unit or the factory amp, I think this is one of the best speakers. Great low end and very efficient. 93 db a one meter with one watt. The excelon stuff is very nice and has double the standard warranty. Crutchfield sells these for $

Speaker install difficulty

To replace the stock speakers is a pretty easy install. Easier than, say, changing the oil. cohocarl has posted a great page on it- here is the link:
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=785The door panels come off very easily. The sail panel cover for the tweeter just pops off. After removing the two screws and unplugging the window harness, just grab the bottom of the door panel and give it a good tug. It'll pop right off.You can either use the method cohocarl did or buy toyota spacers at any hifi shop. I'm not sure what is easier. You'll be amazed at the difference in sound quality. The moon and tunes "woofer" is actually a heavey paper whizzer cone speaker. The rear speaker is at least reinforced paper. the alternative is just to take them to a shop and have them put them in but IMO its not worth the $25-$30 they'll charge; its that easy of an install. Just match positive to positive, negative to negative and you'll be set. Plus you'll have a nice satisfied feeling once you do it and hear it.Replacing the unit and amp and using the existing wiring, on the other hand, is a total pain.

Mike,If you did your own headlight swap you can do the speakers. They are very comparable in difficulty. A few more screws with the speakers.Tim

I've had several cars but this is the first one I took the chance on and did it myself. Its very easy. Especially with the instructions posted on this forum.
