Probably old news - got an insert in this month's GM Card bill. GMC Terrain touted as the all-new crossover SUV. 32 mpg. Must be the same as the Chevrolet Equinox. I wonder if Buick will get their version of this.

Buick was going to get one based on the Vue, including 2-mode hybrid. After announcing that, feedback to management was enough that it was canceled. I did not initially like the squared-wheel openings. I think it is targeted at the Jeep Liberty.

The Terrain uses the same platform, engines, transmission, interior layout and pretty mcuh everything else that the Equinox uses aside from the exterior pannel. It's the equivalent of the Cobalt/G5 duo. Apparently GM decided that the best way to now have unique and distinct vehicules for it's 4 core brands is to give rebranding a new try.
