Debadging makes such a difference!

I know this is a tired topic, but really! You should debadge your "VIBE" side door emblems at first opportunity.Easy, floss and goo gone are all the tools needed.Made a difference athetically. Smoother, no 'break' in the flow of the design of the flanks of the Vibe. The similar Matrix don't have 'em, and I would like to think that the designers of the 1st gen Vibe cringed when they saw them.Truly and Improvement:

I like the Vibe badge on the doors.

Understood raffe,It took a while for me to make the debadging decision. It really comes down to a matter of taste.I just saw too many Matrix's and 2nd gen Vibes without the emblems, and made the choice. Thanks for the response.MSAGRO

If I debadge the doors I think I'm going to put one of the emblems on the front under one of the headlights or something. All in all, I like the badges though.

Debadging FTW! Sometimes people get confused and ask me what kind of car it is

I did re-badge the lift gate. I didn't like how the badges were arranged so I re-badged with some Grafxwerks.

Looks great! I really like the debadged look myself. Biggest improvement in on the rear hatch. looks kinda cluttered with the badges....but its all relative!

yeah, cptnsolo, first thing I did was take off the rear Pontiac 'shield' on the back. The sun bleached it to an odd pink coral look, quite clashing with the Fusion Orange. I did decide to keep the "Vibe" logo on the back, it's small enought, and yeah, your'e right, it does come down to a matter of taste.MSAGRO

MSAGRO -This is exactly my taste, as far as what to debadge, and not to debadge. As soon as the door badges came off, the car became classier. More of a slick design. Especially with the Abyss. To counteract the "pink coraling" of the Pontiac badge on the hatch, I got a non-reflective white Grafxwerks overlay. I like having the car name on it once. Not three times!Looks good on the Fusion!

I'm glad I jumped shipped and debarged as well, I love the look. The only thing I left was part of the dealer decal. It was Stoops such and such, now it's just "oops". I think there is a pic in my garage.

I always was going to debadge - just better and cleaner IMO, and more "mysterious".Now you have convinced me to try it myself rather than to pay for it to be done. I have some Goo Gone around here somewhere.

I'm undecided on if I will debadge my Vibe, I kind of like the "cluttered" look it gives. Sleek just isn't my style lol.I did debadge my 2000 Neon I had and I was surprised at how little some people know about cars... I had it mistaken for a Saturn, or a Honda on many occasions.

i love when police officers pull you over and they act stupid and end up asking you "what the hell kind of car is this" getting tickets sucks but that part is pretty funny
