When I back up i hear this noise.. sounds kinda like grinding or rubbing.. it doesn't do it anytime but when im in reverse.. even if the break is not applied. Just wondering if this is normal in an 09. I didn't think much of it until someone ask me when they drove it the other day. Thanks..

Sounds like surface rust on the rotors or drums. Don't need to hit the brakes to hear it but your rear brakes might need adjusted.

I notice that reverse with the 5m base has that nice whine to it. Reminds me of my old 81 toyota 4x4.
