I like the concept, but I want to know how it performs in ice and snow. Good start.

Wow, the possibilities are endless... If there where a way to make it so it didn't actually cause a "bump" they could be put everywhere and be producing energy all the time..!

They had a whole bunch of these at the annual fair downtown in Ottawa. People walking over them as well as the cars that drove through the fair and parking lot powered a good amount of the rides and such. It's a really good creative idea, I don't know how some people come up with some of this stuff...

yes it could work. They are already developing shocks that produce energy for a new electric ford ranger.

...if *my* car produces it, I want a "part" of the profit!...just a BIG version of the piezoelectric voltage generators you see on kids sneakers...really BIG.

I'd like to see the maintenance required in keeping everything moving properly with dust, dirt, rain, snow, salt, garbage, ect., + 3000-7000lbs of car/suv hammering the damn thing 1000 times per day...It's a good idea, just be ready to fix it!
