..according to Automobile Magazine. GM thinks Pontiac might be in the history books by the end of November. Is it possible to know the last sold Pontiac? I would think the last built was the Vibe at NUMMI. According to a Pontiac spokesman, they are done producing, except for a couple for fleet contracts.

Wow, in the history books by November. That would be amazing. Although GM has thought a lot of things in the past and it seems they have failed at thinking these things through a few times.

Yes. GM has illustrated that thinking is no longer their strong suit.

Here's a few that come to mind...The "iron duke" Camaro. The X-bodies.Taking an awesome prototype and ruining it with changes (The Aztek).Too many SUV's.Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra... WHY!!!! 1 is enough! Brand engineering to be identical.Killing PontiacGetting rid of the H1, the only decent Hummer. The list goes on...

IMO though all car dealers have gone downhill since you can't custom order cars like you used to be able to. Why do certain packages only come together when one has nothing to do with the other?
