White GT (I think) for sale in Rockland, Maine

Just went by the GM/Toyota dealer a couple of feet south of Rockland, Maine on Route 1 this afternoon and saw a white '09/'10 Vibe on the lot and it may have been a GT. It had the rear hatch spoiler, but I didn't get a good look at the nose, since there was another car in front of it. I know that they are starting to get pretty scarce, so there you go, if anyone on the forum is interested in locating a new Vibe!

Msagro - have you seen one of those orange ones in person? There was one at Weston Pontiac in Gresham when I was there about a month ago getting my spoiler installed. I actually didn't like it - much to mild and "tomato-y" in color. Not enough metallic (like the burnt orange Vette color). However, there is a 2.4L in red there now. It has a five speed manual, the preferred package, sun roof, fogs, monsoon, AC and theft deterrent options.

Kincaid, was it a GT or Base model?I too have noticed that more sparkly stuff is needed on this model, but the GT has more 'bling' in the accents and wheels to offset the tomato-y color.

The red one is a GT. I think the orange one was a base model (not sure if 1.8 or 2.4 tho).Orange is a very "person specific" color for certain. I didn't like the orange Vibe color and don't like the "Grabber" orange on the Mustang. But I like the solid orange of the new Dodge Challenger and the metallic burnt oranges I've seen more of in recent years.

Yup, very 'person specific' color. I use to be a 'white car only' person. When I was in the market for a 1st gen Vibe. (I like the way the front end looks better than the 05-08) I considered white, but when I saw the Fusion Orange I found it pleasing to the eye.I just wish the paint quality was better. Gosh, these chip easily!

Fusion orange I do like. I agree about white. For me it was always, "White...I wish I could quit you!". I wanted white on my first car but red was in stock so I got that. When it was time for the Civic I wanted the dark blue but it only came on hatchbacks so we got the next best thing - white! Then I wanted a gold Accord but my wife's teaching partner just got a gold Lexus and I didn't want to look like a copy cat with less money so we got the next best thing - white! If a white GT had been available I don't know if I could have stopped myself.
