I've been heading out every other week with a family friend to a local cruise night. He lets me drive either of his AMX(s) to the show. He owns the purple RoadRunner (600+HP) and 4 other cars.

Ah...... memories! I have had several of those over the years, Nice photos.I will NEVER understand why people take new cars and put them in with the classics? I can see a new Camaro at a Chevy dealership! or Corvette or Mustang or whatever.Ok, I'm done now.Dave

I bought a new '67 Firebird convertible similar to the one in the photo, except that mine had the big engine. (Brings to mind the old "Mine's bigger than yours" business.) I kept it for thirteen years and loved it the whole time. My daughters, who were born during the first few years I had that car also love it and are still kicking my (removed) for selling it.I also don't care for new cars being included in this type of meet, but think the owners simply want to show them off. As that one license place said, "Huge Ego".

Sure had me fooled, 'cause that isn't what it says.Besides, even a Feiro isn't old enough to be in an old car show.Fact is, I enjoy seeing all cars in those meets.
