I just noticed mine is a Toyota brand manufactured by Johnson Controls and is only rated at 365 cold cranking amps.I was expecting a Delco with about 500 CCA.The Delco 310 (330?) CCA served me well in my 2003 so I am not concerned - just surprised. I replaced that one at 5 years just because at the time I planned on keeping that Vibe for a long time and also I didn't want to take a chance on facing a dead battery in the middle of winter. Well things have a way of changing and it was something else I could tell my prospective buyers about the 2003. People pay $250,000 for a home and seemed concerned about the age of a $650 water heater, and also $9,500 for a car and are concerned about the same for a $50 battery.

Nah - also I am sure that battery didn't cost NUMMI $50 - maybe $25. (I paid about $50 for my Costco Duralast 600+ CCA)Mainly I was surprised to see it as there was a lot of complaining about the low CCA Delco that came OEM with the 2003's (maybe 2004's as well) and I think GM finally started using as OEM a 500 CCA Delco - but I am not sure about that.

Interesting - does yours happen to be a 2.4L? That might be the difference.
