I got my floor mats through my local dealer, but I had a 10% off accessories coupon from Pontiac so that brought the price from the dealer down significantly. For you, I would suggest getting them from GM Parts Direct. They have the best price on them. The part number is: #19170829.They are $128.00 + tax from the dealer. They are $112.75 ($93.18 + $19.57 shipping) from GM Parts Direct.

What is the black button next to the traction contol button? I have a 1.8L Vibe without fog lights. Was thinking of adding fog lights and using one of the 3 empty slots as an on/off fog light switch.

My dealer sucks and would never do anything like that .Quote, originally posted by cbctours »What is the black button next to the traction contol button? I have a 1.8L Vibe without fog lights. There is a light behind it that lights up when the alarm is armed.

First, there's not much made for it, second, it's fine the way it is (which is why I got it) and third, I learned my lesson with my Sunfires. I dumped a ton of $ into them and got nothing in return. I like my $ in my bank account where I can watch it grow instead of pissing it away on a car.

The DRL module is actually on the opposite side of the older Vibes. It's behind the glovebox, but easily accessible. I could do this myself because it's just snipping a wire, but as far as doing the independent fog lights, you need to connect the wires straight to the battery and wire them to a new switch. Lowincash did it on his '09 GT, if it would be easier for you, I could get directions for how to do it from him. I'm totally useless when it comes to wiring. Hard wiring the radar detector was easy. I simply got a kit off eBay and connected one end to a screw under the dash and than put the other end (a fuse tap) in with one of the fuses. With the independent fog lights, I would much rather have someone who knows what they're doing do it so I don't mess anything up .Oh, and I'm glad you got the message. I wasn't sure how that whole thing worked .

I would be concerned that the way this radar detector is wired would interfere with airbag deployment. Maybe if the wire were ran down the windshield side of the "A-Pilar"

I didn't like the re-designed look at first either, but the more I drove through my local dealer checking out the GTs the more I liked the looks of them.

I I definitely recommend de-badging the hatch. IMO it looks so clean and it will confuse the hell out of people when they want to know what kind of vehicle it is . It also makes washing and waxing a whole lot easier which is a major plus in my book.
