For a moment I thought I got directed to a porn site. I'm no prude but I don't believe I would be comfortable participating there. The language was worse than the pics. Lack of class.

I'm no prude either, but I found myself scrambling back once I saw bootie. that would be an awfully stupid thing to get canned for.

There are people that don't post here anymore because it's not like that other site. Things like profanity filtering, low tolerance for personal attacks, some people just can't handle being so restricted, and resent the moderators who keep this place under control. There are times when I feel restrained by rules, but after seeing that other place, I'm again glad to have the rules here.

Yeah, this is one of the nicest boards around. Plenty of other places available for flaming and other stuff. I've been a moderator on another site since 1989 (yes, dial direct to modems connected to the server, pre-internet, yes, I'm old.) I know it can be difficult at times to balance this without being heavy handed. The moderators do a great job here, thank you.

The monitoring makes a difference in content though, and keeps the idiots at bay. I just read down through the first page of responses to Kev's thread on that page and, without fail, they all sound like they were written by 13 year olds. Sifting through that, though, it appears that Kevara's Vibe only suffered minor damage although his other car was smashed. I'm sure he'll find his way back here eventually to show pictures of the carnage.
