coolant type mystery????

anyone use the regular "all colors" type nowadays??? i searched this forum and read alot of discussion from past posts. my mechanic says "all colors" is the way to go with all cars.

Yes, I believe every mechanic is using the hybrid coolant now.

Got the factory fill coolant out of ours as soon as I could. Refilled with Prestone straight "All makes, all models and all colors" green/yellow coolant. If you drain both the block and rad, refill with 50/50 coolant/water.

i see Advance Car Parts sells the "dex cool " for just a few bucks more. here,s another question= the ingrediants lists the eaxact ame ingrediants as the "any colors" type coolant. it must be the amount of formula that is altered ?
