Dual Voice Coil Wiring Question

I have a DVC sub that I am finishing up on. AFA the wiring inside the box, I know that I'm going to need four total wires in order to run at 2ohm since each coil is 4ohm. What would be the best recommendation for connecting both wires at their respective terminal? RIght now I'm thinking of Having a short cable that's spaded to the terminal an then just wire nutting all 3 together. Any thoughts?

What amp are you running? The strange thing with imoedance is even though you wire it for a 2ohm load the amp will see 1 ohm, but somehow with impedance rise an fall it equals out. Any thoughts? That will work, that's what a lot of the SPL guys do. They secure threaded rods to their enclosure, use one side for the amp connection and the other for woofer connection.Aron

I'm running a MTX 421D which is a mono amp that runs 4omh but capable of 2ohm.
