I read through Whelan's great posts on the whole nine yards washing and waxing of your car. But what if you're short on time and just want to so q quick wash and rinse? What's the best products and method to use when you just need to clean up the car and get off the surface gunk like bugs, road tar, etc. but don't have time to follow-up with polishing and waxing the car?

I have already waxed my new 09. However, after getting back from a 2400 mile trip. I just used the spray rinse at the carwash...no soap...looks like new to me. Now when winter hits...I'll be glad to just rinse the salt off asap...However, I'd like to know if I really should do anything else.
