Idle Problem After Blower Fix

I'm a brand new member. Trying to keep my daughter's '05 Vibe working well without spending a fortune. This forum really helped me with a blower that wasn't working. I followed instructions at http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=36099. Great job on photos. They were perfect. Just taking out the blower and testing it with a 12V source got it working. Suspect the connection was loose. Now it's working. THANKSBUT, when I reconnected battery, idle is running very low (below 500). Was not doing this before I took out blower and reassembled. Any chance I messed something up by lowering the PCM? Is there something about disconnecting and reconnecting a battery that would lead to a low idle temporarily?Crazy06

Idle problem went away after driving the car for a while. Can anyone explain that?

When the battery is disconnected the computer must re-learn its setting s, when the power comes back its reading all the sensors and adapting to them. Its normal to have an idle that even goes up and down during this process.
