Dogs smarter than 2 year olds?

Ah, Golden Retriever #4 in smarts! 'I'm on my third golden who is currently pushing 18 weeks old. I have a 2 1/2 year old grandchild, they are running neck and neck in basic tasks, mostly house broken with occasional accidents, Able to get in more mischief in such a short time it is astounding, come running when they hear dinner noises, can perform basic tricks and expect treats, sleep only most of the night, empty the toy box for no apparent reason, and are both generally just a lovable pain in the (removed)! But, I love them both and wouldn't part with either one.Dave
