Not much pictures on this forum of engines.I would like to see some. Modified or not.(Please, don't sneak in a Toyota Corolla engine,and call it a Vibe motor, that would simply confuse many people here) :J)Heres from my 2004 Vibe, stock but clean:

Looks GREAT! Why don't you drive it? What are you using to keep it clean?

Really easy. I have done this to all the cars I've gotten. Some of the engines really, I mean REALLY dirty.Get a can of Gunk foamy engine cleaner, go to a self car wash that has a high pressure nozzle, coat the engine with engine cleaner, soak for 5 minutes and spray off.Looks much better.The trick tho is once the engine is clean and dry, spray the whole engine bay with "No Touch" tire spray, wait about a half hour for it to soak in, then towel off excess.That easy.

10 years of dirt, dust, and pine needles!
I am slowly trying to clean it up -- I made great progress after a recent detail job but didn't take any after pics. Will keep on until it looks like one of the above (which ironically my car's engine is spotless like you guys, I slack when it comes to the Vibe.

)

Engine mods: exhaust manifold heat shield painted black, Grafx Werks metallic silver "VVT-i 16V" engine cover overlay, K&N Typhoon metallic silver powder coated cold air intake, AEM Brute Force air filter and Optima 35 series Red Top battery. Nothing fancy, but it's clean

Turbocharged, non intercooled 1.8L 2ZR-FE in a 2010 Vibe base.
Sorry its so filthy. Rustproofing is partly to blame...
