Yup, I sold my JVC KD-AHD59 to Rebbierae (AKA "the iPod Goddess") and bought a downgraded version of the same unit but with out all the iPod crap. I am glad to see her get it, as she will be able to get the full features out of it. This unit will suit my needs much better so I can get my HD Radio fix. It should be here in about a week.

I was considering that one until I saw that it did not have an option for HD Radio. Thanks for the tip though. That one is an awesome deal.

Wow, that IS odd, I didn't even notice, I don't listen to the radio if I don't have to ... lol.

If it even had an option for a HD Radio add-on I probably would still not have gotten that one since it would have increased the price to over $200. The one I ordered was nice and cheap especially with a $20 discount off the listed price. $100 FTW!!!

Well I couldn't wait, so I got it all wired up tonight. Exactly the same as last time with the Scosche SLC-4. I think I will drop it in tomorrow during lunch...

Well just in case you miss my PM. Don't forget tape up that black wire or you will notice interference in your speakers.

Is it really only installed with two bolts? Mine looks a wee bit crooked and is sort of loose when you jiggle it. Jim told me not to jiggle it then, but still. Just want to make sure we put it in right!!

No, there should be 4 bolts holding it..same as the stock radio. 2 towards the top front and 2 lower halfway back

How are you enjoying the new radio? If you would spend $400 on a new HU, what would you recommend?

I am liking it so far. I don't think I would be the one to ask for which $400 headunit to get. I'll leave that one up to the experts. You should post up a new thread or IM Sublimewind and let him know what features your looking for in a head unit. He is very RECEPTIVE will give you SOUND advice.
