new piece I started tonight, for all you bicycle enthusiasts

Started this on my buddy Sam, a big lover of nature and bikes. We came up with the idea of having all these bicycle parts growing in, around and out of a tree, which is turning out to be really fun. It's still in progress, and we'll be adding to it (thus the big gap on the right, beneath the brake handle). Thought I'd toss it up here and get some thoughts and ideas, you guys are usually pretty good about giving feedback and whatnot. Thanks, hope this isn't too self-absorbed ..

I can dig it... I'm looking to get more work done soon.. I have been into BMX since I was a kid, well, I got away from it for 15yrs or so... Picked it back up at the nice age of 28 and rocked it till late last year.. I'm now 35... lol... I just ran out of fun stuff to ride..

Not exactly brimming with business here, the only reason we opened up shop here is the proximity to the wife's family. We're currently a two-person show (with my wife and I both tattooing and all other misc duties) but I'll keep you in mind

For what its worth, Sublime, I would totally swap you a tattoo if you'd upgrade the stereo in my Vibe. Got any leftover gear?

Looks good so far...can't wait to see the finished piece! Are you going to keep the gears silhouetted, or will they be shaded in as well? I like the contrast with the gears being more graphic and the organic tree elements growing around them. Keep sharing the work, it's cool to see what others are working on.

We're thinking of leaving the gear and brake rotor a skin tone and just take advantage of the negative space. Going to let it heal up and finish the rest, sit back and see how it looks and how we like it. (btw, feel free to post up some of your recent work as well )
