Odometer and Speedometer Variance

I today had a chance to check the odometer and speedometer variance on my new 2009 1.8L AT Vibe.Confirmed earlier observation that the odometer registers approx. 97.5 miles for every 100 actual miles. So if miles were the limiting factor this extends the 36,000 mile warranty by about 2.5%.Observed that the speedometer over-reads by a hair over 1 mph. Cruise set at 60 mph - actually going about 59 mph. 40 miles by the mile markers at a hair over 60 mph by the speedo took me 40 min 40 sec. On I-71 South between Rt 35 and Columbus going a hair over 60 mph on cruise I passed no one. 99% of those on the road were passing. 1% just stayed behind me. By a hair I mean the needle was in the top part of the 60 mph bar. I didn't try to adjust it any closer to 60 mph than that.As of July 1, 2009 big trucks have the same 65 mph speed limit as cars. Prior to that they had a 55 mph speed limit so a few trucks drove under 60 mph. No more. They were all passing me.I actually thought going 60 was somewhat relaxing.
